Ormskirk make many meat products and

are constantly introducing new ones; the

window is just not big enough!








Mark Shepherd is the Managing Director of the Ormskirk shop.  Mark served his apprenticeship in the Ainsdale shop and developed his creative skills while working with Dave Allen at the Birkdale shop. Mark spent a brief period with Rob Powell at Formby before taking his own shop in Ormskirk. Mark has won many awards for his products and was a regional finalist in the 2007 'Top Shop' competition.

 

                                

 

Spicy Italian Meatballs are the most popular product that is produced in the Ormskirk shop. Demand from customers was only dimmed when the famous Blue sausage was offered. They have been at the top of the creative product list since their introduction and show no sign of diminishing in popularity. They are made with fresh beef and pork  with a secret comination of herbs and spices. The mixture is formed into balls and doused with a rich Italian style tomato sauce.

 

Mark's team is the newest out of the five businesses, but that has never stopped them becoming one of the strongest of the stores. They all have the same work ethic and great sense of humour, vital for the success of any business team.

Listed below are the boys;

  Ian Bannerman; One of the friendliest members of staff on the Brough Butchers team as a whole. Ian works out of the Ormskirk shop and is always full of enthusiasm and natural charisma. Ian is a quality butcher who prides himself on the quality of work he achieves.

  Alan Dean; Working out of the Ormskirk shop Alan likes to keep everyone on their toes with his quick wit and banter. Alan creates a great atmosphere within the Ormskirk shop and is always a friendly face for the customers to approach. Alan has a great creative butcher's mind and never fails to deliver.

Tom Walmsley  Tom Walmsley; The youngest full time member of the Broughs Butchers team at the Ormskirk shop. Tom is willing to learn and has the ability to adapt to any given situation. Tom has quickly picked up many skills, he can make sausage and many other products. He is able to help in the shop and is becoming used to serving our customers. Tom is on an approved apprenticeship scheme with Meat Ipswich.
