Quality meat” is a claim that consumers are familiar with – but what does it mean?

Many years ago the statement referred principally to the properties of taste, tenderness and

texture of the meat. It related to the expectation of the eating experience and consumer satisfaction.

"Ethically minded discerning consumers today want to know more about the food that they eat"

Broughs Butchers have responded to providing the required additional criteria by

introducing the ‘Farm Visited Range’ of meat products.

With ‘Farm Visited’ our customers can rely upon the traditional constituents of quality, coupled with our first hand assurance that the meat has been produced in an ethical and responsible way.

We sincerely hope that our efforts will meet the expectation of food aware consumers who appreciate and support the higher standards of production employed by the farmers included in our ‘Farm visited Range’.
