Pork dripping is offered by supermarkets as LARD.
The properties of commercial Lard are well known to kitchen aware folk, but this is not LARD it is traditionally rendered pork dripping with a weep of residual stock on the bottom - that's what makes it special !

Pork dripping or LARD - is harvested from pork back fat (rind removed).
